Jewels Eubanks-is the current Artistic Director of the award-winning Inner Circle Theater Company. Jewels is a Director, Sound Designer and accomplished Character Actor. He has appeared in over forty-five productions playing a number of vastly different roles, including Willard in Carlos Morton’s world premier of Brown Baby, Clotaldo in La Vida es Sueno, John in Athol Fugard’s The Island, Damis in Freyda Thomas’ world premier adaptation of Tartuffe and Orpheus in Sarah Ruhl’s Eurydice, along with three different incantations of Cletis T. Fullernoy in James McLure’s touching comedy Lone Star. His numerous directorial credits range from Chekhov’s The Bear to Thornton Wilder’s Infancy, which was heralded by Charles Donelan, editor of the Santa Barbara Independent, as “the most Avant-Garde piece of theater he has seen in Ventura County.” Sound Design Credits for original premiers include, Operation Mexploitation by Carlos Penuela, The Reason Why I Lie by Chelsea Sutton and Pneumonic by Christopher Oscar Pena. Sound Design credits at Inner Circle include Metamorphoses, all seven plays in the Summer Shorts one act play Festival, Eurydice at Theater 150 and Inner Circle’s New York production of Othello. Last summer Jewels created the experimental musical Blood and Mercury, which was described by the Independent as “having moments of piercing clarity - sudden epiphanies, bursts of raw and uncovered truth… a bit like stumbling into a dream.”In addition to his stage work, Jewels is an accomplished musician. Television credits include appearances on NBC, and FX in addition to producing, writing and hosting the award winning WZUP for OCTV. |

Lucy Bellwood- is a recent addition to the Inner Circle Theater company. Previous acting credits include the title role in Jean Anouilh's Antigone at the Zalk Theater, The Anti-Sulk in Inner Circle's Blood and Mercury, Katerina in The Taming of the Shrew, and Jane in 'Dentity Crisis. She has worked as a lighting designer at the Zalk Theater, Ojai ACT, and Theater 150 in addition to being a technician at the Rubicon Theater Company and Ojai Shakespeare Festival in the past two years. She spent the past three months studying classic plays in Greece and scenic design at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. She is currently a senior at Happy Valley School. |
